Let me put it to you like this, if average cost is R500/m then the cheapest trenching which is through soil is far less. That still doesn't address though the fact that your trenching cost doesn't increase when you connect another house past a point you already have to trench.

Unless you subcontract the trenching bit out to hard-up subbies for much less.....then you might have a deal breaker

Not sure what you're asking. Trenching costs is largely related to the area size you're trenching.

That's why 90% of entrepreneurs fail.

You should ask yourself one thing: what would you do if you got your numbers completely wrong and marketed something that was not actually viable? If the answers are anything like what we've seen 123Net doing, then one has to start asking the hard questions...

You stated that "we are an ISP" please give us your isp's name and your credentials so we can verify the legitimacy of all the information you posted.

Because the length and details of these posts are rendered moot without any verified credentials or isp information.

We all know DJ, we respect his opinion, and he doesn't get on his soap box about things like this unless he knows the subject matter relatively well.

Well, it's not nobody, it's 123Net.

If you have 30% or more of the residents that are willing to sign up, then Greencom can sort you out (according to what was told to me).

123Net seems like they keep raising the bar of requirements before they do anything, looks like a case of wanting maximum return in as little time as possible instead of building credibility and securing customers that way.

It's regarding the FUP where they advertise products of uncapped unshaped and contradicts it with the fair use policy.

Sort of like this. Hey I will offer you my services to paint your house for 5 days. And then while im in there I will go through your closet and anything I find I can share with whomever I please. Also. If the house is too big to paint. I will supply and use less paint after I told you paint is uncapped and always available. .
