My dad told me last night he called GWI yesterday and they said they were very busy and they will come Thursday. Would they? Heard stories everyday as they very busy and they will come fix the next day.

What a pity!!

Now we're left in the dark again.

I am sending this from my PPC Phone, you guys know why. Obviously no one came again as they promised. Not sure where the F the problem lies, as GWI should send someone last week monday but they too busy so only this Micheal came on Saturday. Promised to come back to fix on Monday but everyday tell my dad will come, but never fuxking pitch up. Today told my dad overthe phone will come afternoon after he called him, my dad said will you come for real as he's been waiting everyday since Monday, after he heard this he changed and say he can't come. Please stop think that we are stupid and lie to your customers all the time. I am sick and tired of these excuses.

I should do a flowchart for this. I've seen it happen so many times, its so predictable:

1) Start with their initial capital, build really fast.
2) They try to add as many users as possible, to make the books look good
3) Realise they haven't spent enough time on building a stable network, and blame any downtime on the rapid expansion.
4) Realise they're not making money
5) Go hunting for investors.
6a) Sometimes, they get an investor who didn't do their homework.
6b) Go back to 2.
7) Bankrupt

They came today to 'fine tune' the device. Working now but since 13th I have no internet due to their stupid device upgrade and no decent connection since end of Aug.

Going to change to ADSL anyway.

At this stage there's no alternative. But things are looking up, with neotel and telkom wimax become possibillities in the near future.

People with access to reliable inexpensive broadband don't know how lucky they are.
