How to block SMS spam.

Ive registered on the OPT out list quite a while ago but I still seem to get the odd life insurance/ad, got one at 01:01 this morning and it scared the crap out of me.

What do I do?

I wish / you wish / we all wish - to find a way to stop chrap sms's!

but it's doubtful - short of blocking everything except your contacts

Maybe enable quiet hours / do not disturb mode? Just a thought.

It's very bloated. I tried it and uninstalled it after a few weeks, I just rely on the built-in tools.

EDIT: Just saw you don't have a smartphone. Then my suggestion would be to upgrade, and then the above.

Just disable the notification tips and I have received one "spam" email from them. Still worth it.

And give the whole world access to your contacts. Very "nice" app that Truecaller is.

I used to get a lot of those SMS's. Mainly from Hollard. I threw up a huge stink with them and on HelloPeter. haven't had another in about 6 months now.
