Wirelessly. But how do you connect that to the B970?
Cool, that thing looks like it extends WIFI coverage without needing to be plugged into the actual router....What you need to get is a range extender - Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander
I've setup one of these before and they work very well and improved the coverage throughout a very large house.
Yes, you can use MDMA with the B970 but only using the USB connection. All you B970 users can I use MDMA utility with this device.
Something like this: http://www.poyntingdirect.co.za/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=OMNI-A0039-05 or even smaller? What about the window mount http://www.poyntingdirect.co.za/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=PANL-A0038
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.
We have a couple of these units that we use to create connections on site, but ever now and then for some reason these units will re-enable the DHCP server on the unit itself and also default the IP address on the unit back to 196.168.1.1.
Now this is a big pain especially since we run a connection on the lan port which is a pix firewall that doesn't want a DHCP address as it has a Static Address already. Also the IP on the PIX is configured with a custom subnet.
Has anyone else had this happen to them where the DHCP server gets re-enabled and the lan config changes. Nope the router was not reset as all the other settings are still the way it was configured ie wireless disabled etc.

With a 90 degree connector.
You think that is going to be better than the internal antenna?
Seems some power failures makes this happen more frequently
