Hi Shaun. Just came across a potentially major problem.

I forwarded one of my "iBurst Data Usage Summary" reports to you last night showing a negative carry over. I also noticed that all my accounts seem to have a "Total Data Received" of exactly 40.0 MB irrespective of the package that they were on.

I thought that this was just a display issue but it seems like this is the actual cap that has been allocated to my accounts. My 3GB account is already running at 64kbps speed and its only the 2nd of the month.

Are you aware of this issue?

I promised myself I would not become a grumpy person that rants about everything but realy iBurst?? WTF!

Weekend system upgrade . . well and good but its almost a month now? helo are you guys sleeping there?

1st of September.
Jipeee fast internet browsing because I have my glorious cap, and Raiding yeah what wonderful week this would be! . . . .wow I was dreaming there!

For some reason they like to put off my connection every night before 12 and the speed? well I have my cap but whats this? they throttle my connection because their weekend system upgrade isn't finished yet!

I have cap and I want to use the speed dammit! Its not like I have everyday off to see if I have a stable connection to play. When I have time to do online gaming I expect to have a decent playing experience NOT A THROTTLED CONNECTION!!! :mad:

Jannie (iBurst CEO) seems to think this is quite normal...

Nothing suspicious.

Clearly the new billing system is still finding its feet (don't even go there....) and as I said from day 1, we'll look at the products as soon as it's stable.

Chatted to the guys at iBurst and they were busy applying a fix last night. I suggest that you power cycle your modems now and you should be back to normal speed.

Hi all.


The current situation follows.

1. iBoss components which are in place are the following....
New Billing System
New CRMSystem
New ERP System
New Web Site Intergration
New Network Authentication & Accounting System​

2. The monthly bandwidth allocation is correct and confirmed.

3. Daily Bandwidth Reports are now fully functional and will be sent out later in the day. This is only to subscribers who have selected this option.

4. The dashboard can be used to Launch and connect to the Net. The Bandwidth usage figures displayed will be finalised by end of Friday this week.

5. iCall, Virtual Fax and iSmS balances are not available and top up from the website is not currently available. This will be finalised by close of business on Friday this week. Should you require any of the above balances or top up's please contact the Call Centre on 087 720 7200.

I will keep you posted as I get the info in.

Should anyone have an issue which they would like to communicate with further please give me a call.

Ok ... so when the dashboard works, it will show correct usage and balances (sometime tomorrow). FYI I tried to update dashboard, said it already was up to date. Running WIN XP SP3 on this sytem...

Mine too, I don't use the dashboard. I log in onto the iburst website to check my bandwidth.

Did the same, but it cant be correct! Says I've got 10gig?, carried over -2g? and the usage up and down does not match my Netlimiter Pro stats!

I wish I had 6123.07 MB remaining...:D
