Just a quick note on MTN. Even though it is officially supported it never popped up on my iPad air. Even phoning 1555 did not help even after I told them my APN settings has nothing in it.
What worked for me is to specify mymtn in the apn for personal hotspot under the apn/cellular data settings. (I also specified it for cellular data and lte.) Then a reboot and the personal hotspot becomes available.
Just wish I knew this 6 months ago and that MTN can sort out how to correctly send the settings OTA.
