iPad hotspot for MTN, Vodacom enabled

Working fine with Cell C, always has.

Yep, but only because I when I upgraded to iOS 7 I did everything fresh and didn't restore any old app data or settings. I had to fill in the APN for both Cellular data and the hotspot as they were blank.

So actually it's not all doom and gloom. 3/4 Providers now support iPad hotspot officially.
 
Wait, you can't just press a button and wifi hotspot switches on without some third party apps and settings?
WTF? Is this the dark ages?
Glad I don't use that crap.

Yes you can. Only 8ta/Telkom Mobile that are in the dark ages.
 
Wonder why this had to do with which carrier one uses... This should be a standard menu embedded on the OS of any device with that capability. No wonder I have been battling to activate it on my iPad mini since I bought it. No such crap with android, functions like these are standard and easy to use.
 
Hi guys, just want to know... Want to update my iPad mini to iOS7 and before i do, is hotspot enabled for MTN now?
