iPhone 15 Pro gets overheating patch

my work issued iphone overheats when using apple maps but not google maps. so bad that by time you get to your destination the battery is almost dead.

my work is so cheap they got us a iphone 7 i complained after while and got an 8 as a replacement.same crap new name.
i dont own a personal phone, i think they are a waste of money and phones drive me nuts.

its such an odd thing i cant comprehend. the mindset that if you are working as cashier with the latest fancy phone taking a taxi to work then you have made it in life

Humans and their trinkets. Must have something better than the Jones. A sad society we live in.
 
iPhone is one of the cheapest luxury items you can buy. Maybe you are a cashier, you can’t buy a 320d, but you can buy an iPhone and have a great little computing device that will last years. Cashiers deserve nice things too.

Also depends on where you are. In HK for example a car is a luxury, so if you have that then you're a baller.
If you don't have a car, well, then you can show off with fancy nails or watches or iPhones.

Well - ‘updates’ … you’re kinda running iOS17 Lite on a phone that you bought a week ago? Only the iPhone 15 is running true iOS 17.

Will be interesting to see what you lose in iOS18 or iOS19

I’m running iOS17 Super Lite on my iPhone 13 Pro :(

I'm not missing anything. 10 years on Android I've learned to buy a device with the hardware and software I want. If you get any updates it's a plus.

I’d be worried if I bought my iPhone 14 and there were features missing that aren’t related to hardware.

It would make me think what’s going to be missing in the later iOS versions

Oi, don't schit on the i11, I still have one & it is rock solid. I don't need the latest & greatest iPhone to show-off my peen (dick) size.
