Do corroborate this statement... How does the iPhone have more longevity?.....and don't be daft and just say Appstore.
 
iPhone sure made an impact on everyone, it even impressed the CEO of Nokia. The funniest statement was when he said they could have done this 10 years ago. I don't like the iPhone, but I like what the iPhone represents, SPEED! Just wish my Nokia was faster and had more memory to run more apps at once.

Nothing daft about the appstore it is one of the reasons, another reason is that Apple actively develops firmware updates not only to fix bugs but add new features and the iPhone port can allow accessories if Apple allows it.

BB Bold is the only phone that I am willing to concede is a good alternative to the iPhone.

Not sure which one you have but newer Nokias, N96/N82 for instance, have 128mb RAM as does the iPhone.
 
I would like to know how all you guys have this IPHONE if it is only been launched now?? I am waiting for it from Vodacom? Did u actually go buy it from Mac or something?

Im in the market for a new phone and would like to know which is better.

They said no biased opinions Pooky... so rather he read this, and then this, and if he still needs to then especially this.



Those were the first three comparions that came up when I Googled "iphone versus n95". Don't believe me and think I am being biased, do it yourself and see!




Now before the iPhone fans go shouting that these compare the old iPhone, you may find this interesting :

"Now when you sit and look at the specifications between the two phones there is not a lot of difference really, ok the new model has 3G and yes it has built in GPS, but other than that not really much in the way of major changes."
 
LOL ....well at least the people in here are passionate about there chosen brand..... ( im starting to think a bit too passionate and perhaps people have finincial interests in these brands??) hence the biase...

I have to agree there. I have a Win Mobile phone... and it sucks.

But... the pretty iPhone OS is about ALL it has going for it.

Its no good if the phone can't do half the stuff other phones can do.
