iPhone 5 fails to be groundbreaking

For people with the 4 it's maybe not a major upgrade, you get more screen space etc, but there are still tons of people who haven't had an iPhone yet and they'll jump on this! I think it's nice looking. Even though I said I wouldn't consider an iPhone, I still might!

My thoughts exactly.

Why is that important? It still beats the likes of the S3 in the PPI department.

It's about to be whupped on from a dizzy height by 1080p 5" China phone. And Apple's about to not care very much.

While I had a good laugh at the Keynote, I really don't see what people (who are complaining) were expecting. Most people cannot actually name something they wanted to see in the iPhone5 (apart from NFC, which is currently kind of useless) yet they're still underwhelmed.
The device evolved in every aspect and it's still an awesome phone for those who love it. Also, Android can learn something from the speed that thing is putting out in the UI, must say, it's impressive.

That being said, just got my bluetooth mouse and keybard (have the HDMI adapter already) for my S3 and it's bloody awesome :D

I have been underwhelmed by every single version of iPhone. I every instance I cannot see what justifies the price given the lack of flexibility.

That says more about you than the iPhone.

.. yet they all praise the LTE on the new iPad and iPhone which currently IS Useless and may be for the life of the device?

Overall the amount of hype and leaks led to the keynote being "boring" since there was nothing unexpected. Had there been no leaks then people would have been blown out of the water by the A6 processor, the screen size, ect ect.. I will upgrade to the iPhone 5 when it arrives. I will enjoy every moment of my iPhone regardless of what people think because its an awesome device. I am seriously considering getting the Lumia on my business contract that renews in March next year tho. It might just be awesome.

Flexibility is a matter of perception. It might be more flexible for one user to have a massive and mature apps market which provides a huge amount of functionality. Or it might be flexible for another to get under the hood and have direct command line access to the device.
