You're not getting android 4.1... which I assume means you're not getting 4.2... so your phone IS slower than an iPhone.

:( he almost saved you.

You can like what you like without having to hate everything else you know.. You can like your phone and still appreciate the strengths of another phone without your phone getting upset. It will still wake you up in the morning (if you ask it too), put your calls through and allow you to play games with it.

Speed is not important to me, I don't play games on my phone. But display quality is important.

Not that the iPhone 5 display is that bad, it's just nothing special.

It's just an average phone for an above average price.

It's never important when you're phone is slow. Just like when you think you're screen is the best and suddenly screen resolution is the most important thing...

I feel another break through coming on.
 
OMG, this is tiring.

I don't believe that my phone is the best phone on the market, but neither is the iPhone 5.

In the scheme of things they are just very average new phones.

Depends. 1st and foremost for me is iOS, so what are my choices? 3GS discontinued so I can get a 4, 4s or the best phone in the world running iOS the iPhone 5.

I have a dead standard Sony Xperia S, has a 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.3 inches (~342 ppi pixel density) display.

It's nothing special, probably the minimum requirement for a new phone.

Note that this phone came out in February 2012, it is already old.

Note : I think that the Nokia Lumia 920 has a similar screen, as I said, it is the minimum for a new phone.

Also : I bought my Xperia S in March in the UK, so it has been around for a while.
