I haven't had it active in SA yet. But I've had it active in other countries.
Seems to be as good as TomTom

And it beats the quad core Galaxy S3 even though it only has 2 cores running at just 1GHz. Really incredible piece of custom silicon that.

Why do you have to jailbreak if you have a Apple product in SA?

I understand the US / Kenyan account but not the Jailbreak.

Disagree with point No 1. I've never seen the need for it personally. Sure, I've tried it but it never lasted a week before I restored back.

Does jailbreak really work for you? I found it to be disappointing and it always slowed my device down (took away the sleekness).

For me its customisations and tweaks like SBSettings but there are SO many more reasons to jailbreak.

Would you give yourself a week to explore the Appstore? Okay, it's barely comparable but one shouldn't under estimate the value it brings to one's device either.

Haven't updated to iOS6 and won't until an untethered jailbreak is available. All the nuances people talk of is nullified through the tweaks and mods available via jailbreaking.

EDIT: Did you ever install fakeclockup? What about Springtomize? There is so much animation going on things take a lot longer to happen than they should. Fakeclockup is maybe not as effective on a 4 but you will be amazed by the 4s and on the 5 it's going to be stunning. I'm actually willing to bet Apple have already amended the animation settings for the 5. People are also commenting on iOS6 feeling snappier on their 4/4s's.

I never got to the value stage - the reduced battery life and frequent crashes on the other hand . . . lets just say the app store is a necessity, Jailbreaking, a luxury I didn't have time for.

Mmmm, pity. There a few tools to fine tune and tweak battery consumption as well IE Removebackground and editing launchdaemons.

Why don't Apple make such things standard feautures in iOS? It frustrates me no end that Apple is so conservative.
