Good grief PP, I've got several Apple products and like them just as much as anyone, but the sheeple tag is there for a reason and the reason is people like you with attitudes like this.

Come on then, school me as to why.

Come on then, school me as to why.

It's circle wagons and shoot. This from the last page alone...

They never did.(bend)

Actually, you're the liar.

Have you held one?

Then again it's being driven by bias and dislike for Apple/iDevices...

But whatever dude. I'm not here to school you, you're no doubt a big boy already. But I'm getting embarrassed on your behalf and it makes any discussion about Apple all the more difficult as much as blinded Fandroids talking smack on these threads.

Any realistic person knows that bendgate was blown out of proportion. What you're quoting is merely my way of emphasising that, and how wrong the anti crowd are in claiming things like "iPhones used to bend" based on "so many YouTube videos." Nonsense.

Nothing to be embarrassed about *hugs*, no blindness. You'll find that many agree with me, can you really blame them?

Now that we've got your qualms out of the way, let us focus on what brought you to this thread on this fine morning.

Did you read the article(s) and comments?

What brought me to the thread? Same as you I suppose, to read and comment. This thread particularly because I have a 5S and wondered if it was worth getting a 6 (it's not btw ;) ).

So I read all of the comments and some of the articles depending on what time I have and how my day is going.

As a 5S and S5 owner, it's quite annoying to see the childish bickering over which one's 'better'. Fsck me, whatever floats your boat and whatever you decide to invest in, good luck to you. I prefer the Galaxy over the iPhone for many reasons but I still love the iPhone. But passing off my subjective views as fact is ludicrous and defeats the purpose of the thread.

These threads should be an invaluable tool to discuss, question and probe and make up your own mind based on ours and other peoples experiences, good or bad, not mindless defending or attacking based on nothing but blind defence of your investment.

Agreed, I'm on the hunt for a 5s 64GB to replace my 16GB with. Also, easy one handed use is important to me.

I take it in the latest one you noted the words "apparently" and "rumours". Yet I'm called out by showing a sign of not accepting it?

Where is this bickering you speak of? I could not agree more about passing subjective views as fact, and I'm glad you brought up my quotes again reinforcing my lack of tolerance for it.

Where is this mindless defending, attacking, and blind defence?

What about mindless and blind attacking? Is that fine?

I've crossed a line there and not made it clear. I'm referring to general Apple versus Android bickering which plagues the forum.

But yeah, it's the blind attacking that leads to the blind defending, I get that. That's why I said 'circling the wagons'.

Believe it or not, i think you are one of the most informative and helpful posters on the forum and you've helped me in the past with tv queries where I have and still do trust you above anyone. I guess I'm just seeing a change in attitude that may or may not be there due to frustration on either yours or my part.

Anyway, apologies if I offended. Just keep on keeping on and you can tell me to fsck off if you want, but don't get dragged into a one eyed world of product blindness ;)

Definitely gets too much. From my point of view, especially due to the existing lopsidedness. The 10% vs 90% I referred to earlier, even though a large proportion of MyBb users are iOS users (I recall impressive numbers in polls/statistics in the past, 40+%?).

I'm here to even things out a bit and step in for all those iDevice users who aren't compelled to defend all the blind attacks. It's not good for consumers to come here and get pointed in one direction when the reality is that it's actually quite even.

I will maintain what I said about those least vocal being the most content.

Thank you for your kind words, I feel the same way about you and always appreciate your valuable input. We're tight, nothing better than geek banter. :)

You will agree that 90% of the bickering is initiated by fandroids!

Imagine PP had to go to the official S4 thread every time someone had to replace a swollen battery? Mind you, imagine every tech site published an article every time someone had to replace a swollen battery? A few bent iPhones and the publicity received is on a par with the latest Ebola outbreak!!

Yes, bending phones is concerning but even it were under reported and it were 200 out of the 20 million odd phones already sold? It's insignificant!

There seems to be a disproportionate response when Apple errs compared to the competitors. Apple is held to much higher standards than anyone else, perhaps rightly so as they are a premium brand but has Samsung not yet reached that status yet? Or is it just that people love to hate Apple? They the Israel of the tech industry? :p

Anyway. I'm loving my iPhone 6 IMMENSELY!!! Came from a 5c so it was a reasonable upgrade for me. Enjoying the jailbreak too! In fact that's what keeps me loyal to Apple, is jailbreaking and the value it brings to the experience. To me it's worth 15%-20%! If it weren't for jailbreaking I would probably have gone android by now.

Spot on, I was thinking that earlier. I'm amazed by these high standards of Fandroid users - surprised they aren't using iPhones themselves. ;)

People do love to hate Apple. I used to be one of them up until a few years ago for iDevices, and a year ago for Mac PCs.

Lol, absolutely, and it's flippen annoying. I replaced a swollen battery last year on my wife S4 and the thread was full of help and advice for everyone with the same problem. I don't recall any Apple users chipping in with mindless drivel and memes, but it's like an insecurity thing with some Fandroids feeling the need to come and point fingers at Apple users. Not that they have anything to point at. Android is not perfect, it's just different.

Nice one, each to their own. I know you've long been a proponent of jailbreaking and will have no doubt nailed down your user experience to exactly the way you want it (I haven't done it since my iPhone 3. Not my thing, too stressful)

I on the other hand have had the same home screen and apps/widgets setup for a couple of years on Android and haven't even bothered to root my latest S5 dual sim yet.

So it's just what we are used to and everyone is of course different. That's exactly what makes these threads so interesting to me.

I just think its immature from both sides to try and convince and sometimes bully you in another way of phone.

I don't think we will ever stop, its the same case as PS vs Xbox, Pc vs Console ect.

As was mentioned before it is more about what you like, and that is great as there is options for all of us.
People get Android because they like the interface the freedom and accessibility and for other reasons.

I enjoy Apples interface and I have been using the phone and all their other components for the last 5 years.
Thus I have invested in allot of apps and spend allot of money on apps and devices.

I was on my way to move over to the Note because Apple did not have the size I was looking for, but with the plus it is back to Apple not because I am a fanboy or anything but because at this stage the phone will do exactly what I need from a phone and device.

So why don't we call a truce and except each others decision, both manufactures have their Pro's and Con's.
But its a choice we make we invest highly in the device cost and the apps that will be installed and brought over from a previous device.

Nand flash issues in a batch of iPhones - is that very interesting news? The small numbers of people who suffered from the problems will take them back to the Apple store, get them swapped out, and carry on with life.

What you're describing is Apple users, particularly on this forum, who besides constantly defending being attacked in every thread, never attack Android unprovoked or go into Android threads guns blazing.

It's the Fandroids who have the problem you speak of, and I feel you'll have a tough time convincing them.

I hear what you say, but luckily I am not a 12 year old school girl that try to convince people my lip gloss is cooler.
I know what I like and what I pay for thus I have no issue getting a new Iphone 6 Plus with bendable and all that go with it :)

I have a iPhone 5s and the only real complaint that I have is that Apple have forgotten to put a battery in the phone. Can someone with experiance of both the 5s and the 6 please tell if there is a noticeable improvement.

It depends on how you use them. If not used much the 6 plus battery lasts longer. If you use the phone, the battery lasts about the same.
