DStv owner nails streaming pirate

The very people that raided billions from the state sit in parliament today and nothing has happened to them. Yeah let's prop up a useless service provider with over inflated prices and prosecute petty crime. Makes total sense. FML!!!

I'm curious how a private-sector company can muster all the resources of the state, prosecutors, detectives and regular law enforcement, to serve its own purposes? To me that's the most interesting and disturbing part of this article.

They very cleverly hide behind the Cyber Crime Act, making this a crime against the state and not themselves.

Oh dear- Naspers. B.V. and its subsidiaries MultiChoice and IRDETO are really cash strapped and now arresting people again like they did back in the day when people fiddled with their M-NET decoders
Naspers has nothing to do with MC since 2019 already
