I was in the middle of Borneo a few years ago, I asked the Indonesian chef if he could make pizza. No problem, what do I want, I said a vegetarian pizza please.

He made a decent margarita with a good base from scratch, but the vegetarian topping was diced carrots, peas, green beans and sweetcorn from a bag of frozen mixed veg :ROFL:
 
I'm not the biggest fan of pineapple, but it goes pretty well on pizza when combined with the right toppings.

Similar attitude towards tomatoes, like they invented the stuff....considering the origin is South American. Their pasta rules annoys me as well.....

I don't think there is a single country that gets more offended by food culture appropriation, maybe the french......but they too can take their snotty garden snails and frog legs and shove it where the sun don't shine.....Mind you the french get offended just being NOT french.....

Making a good base from scratch takes hours, ideally days. How far in advance did you order your pizza?
 
I am against this. I am also against other people ordering it, except in very limited circumstances. If we’re eating pizza together, and you want to try a slice of mine, but you have pineapple on yours, then all trading is off because you went and farked up.
