What do you mean by this statement?
I mean that MWEB is never down. We have people complaining about torrents being shaped, and then we have others, thinking they're fair and logical, chiming in with their experiences from 2+ years ago, as to why MWEB sucks.
MWEB does not suck, it's never down, and they offer literally unshaped uncapped bandwidth on all other protocols. No ISP comes close, having tried them all. I would like to reiterate that this is not for me only, but for countless others - forumites, family, clients, etc.
It's sad that one cannot speak the truth without these 'fair and logical' persons resorting to childish attacks. Internet's serious business. They need to understand that everyone has different uses and usage needs, and that for most internet users, consistent quality is more important than squeezing as much out per month. Of course, they are too closed-minded to even consider others' usage but themselves'.
70 and 100GB respectively on their uncapped 2MB accounts? LOL! What if I told you I did about 50GB - 60GB in the first week of March on my 2MB OW account? Downloaded Elder Scrolls Online which is about 30 - 35GB once off. Then they released update 6 several days later, which was about 20 - 25GB.
Just downloaded Cities: Skylines this morning via torrent. 1.25GB file which ran full speed and finished in about an hour and 40 minutes.
Take your time when you go through the package comparisons chart again. If you were on 2Mbps Premium, nothing would happen. If you were on 2Mbps Standard, you would be nearing the threshold.
FYI, the above usage accounts for maybe 5% at most of internet users in SA. Keep that in mind.
Lol, PostmanPot. My OW account is outperforming your MWEB account. OpenWeb, of all ISPs. You've got your head so far up your arse you can't separate reality from your delusions. Mweb is not a good ISP. They're just as bad as Openweb and WebAfrica.
No it's not.
Ah, you mean when you got force fed humble pie by the guy who you were lying about on the forums? Maybe we should call him to see what he thinks of you saying he doesn't love and maintain his pride and joy? Because I recall you singing a whole different tune once he showed up.
Not entirely. The lower end of my guesstimate of the RPM was correct. I was incorrect about damage being caused or if it was 'bad' for the car. I do still believe deep down that an engine gently warmed up will outlast one that hasn't, and is generally better for the car. There was some agreement there. Obviously a V8 will handle more due to higher capacity. I have already made my point about people treating things differently and I believe most high end car owners would feel the same way I do about their pride and joys. We've already met and you're welcome to call him if you now feel it's important.
Quite frankly your behaviour is appalling, but hopefully you can appreciate the above and focus on the discussion at hand.
Just popping into this thread to understand why people are still with Mweb.
Why is that?
