see this pic, of the box, dent doesnt look hectic hence i didnt think much of it, but when i look at where the crack is vs. the dent, its in exactly the same spot. So i'm gonna call on that trolley dude who rolled it to my car for me (whose a dion wired employee), he'll bare witness he saw the dent prior to loading it in my car. ontop of that, my sis witnessed me asking the trolley dude 'whatsup with the dent', where he answered "dont worry , it hasnt been opened"

a dude on carbon selling a 40" 6 series LED for 5k. 3 months old...i dont know about posting the link. cape town only probably..

That would probably be the LA40D550 with more HDMI, USB HD media player, etc.

Their site's URLs get a bit hectic after going into promotions, selecting your local branch, etc.

That's so weird, I swear it was just R2,999. Reckon they just changed it. You are right, R3,899 is for the LA40D503. So-so price...

Ah, must be a Centurion special.

Pictures and firmware updates. Apparently it can be unlocked to play HD media...

LG 47LK530 - R5999 Makro. I bought one.
 
makro website is rubbish. it keeps giving me popup to select store, but refuses to "stick". i cannot get to anything on their site! :-(

When I went to buy a set at Makro around 5-6 weeks ago. The LA46D550 was R6999 and the 47LK530 was on special for R5999 (from R6999). The 47LK530 is 100Hz Trumotion vs 50Hz of the LA46D550. I only read good things about that LG, so decided to go for it. I am by no means an AV expert, but glad I took it.

I have the LG D550 on the wall in my bedroom. Awesome TV. DON client is pretty much flawless too.
