Hey Guys,

I am in the market for a SUV. Can be used (low mileage not more then 20k), demo or new. Budget is approx R450k.

Some priorities for the vehicle, good boot space, automatic gearbox, reliable brands, safety (driver assist features), leather interior, must have pdc's or rear camera. Model should be relatively new - not something that is going to replaced in the next year or two.

What are the learned members of this forums thoughts?

Im sure you have a choice between Honda CRV, Hyundai tuscon and the kia sportage

All look beautfiul as well and should have all the extras you looking for and more

Any thoughts on the BMW X1?

Cant do the Suzuki, looks like its only a 2 door vehicle. Thanks for the suggestion though, looks like a cool vehicle.

I thought about Haval, but something in me says not to go for a new brand like that.[/QUOTE]

Someone mentioned in another thread that the weight of the Haval is around 290 kgs odd heavier than the comparable Qashqai from Nissan.

I'll only consider Haval when they've been around long enough so that one can assess resale value.
