Provide a link, I can't see OP getting anywhere close to his requirements on the budget when looking at the Tiguan.

Cant do the Suzuki, looks like its only a 2 door vehicle. Thanks for the suggestion though, looks like a cool vehicle.
What, the Vitara isn't a two door, it's a spacious 4 door, huge boot

[/QUOTE]I thought about Haval, but something in me says not to go for a new brand like that.
I usually go against the obvious choices. If I were in the market for an SUV at that price, I'd go with a Volvo XC40...

Ford Everest?
I didnt consider this. Had a quick look now, it doesnt look very refined, and i am not sure if its the pics, but the boot looks small.
Decent pricing though. I think i need to go see it in person.
I think that's as good as you're going to get tbh.Had mine for a year now (H6C Lux Auto). Love it. But yes fuel consumption is 12.8 average for the year. I've wondered about de-catting....
Subaru forester? Even new, though the 2L engine is not exciting - but very similar to what you get in a CX5 or Tuscon if you opt for a 2L. Has good boot space, features, and apparently the eyesight safety features are amongst the best.
Yeah it's awesome, if you can afford the fuelYou can get with 2.0L turbo in the top spec model, 177kw!
The sound of a turbo charged boxer is awesome! Which is a nice added bonus!
