LucidView mobile uncapped feedback

think i will give them a call today also , money has gone off my account also , hopefully get a courier tracking number.
 
I don't really care if they see what I do on the internet, I haven't any nefarious motives...I guess it's aimed at the kid user who's parent choose to block certain website categories, like porn, and that IP caveat allows them to monitor, report and block where necessary...
 
Please keep us posted on how long the courier takes to deliver your package and who they using as a courier.

That money is probably going to be used to pay the delivery company, imagine if a company had to fit that pill upfront without receiving any payment whatsoever. 10000 x R30 :)
 
I called lucidview this morning. Spoke to the sales lady. Sim card will be dispatched once debit order been verified and has gone off. Sim will take around 5 working days to be delivered and you will need to provide RICA documents ie. Copy of ID and proof of address. I think SIM is activated when dispatched.

Now to wait for SIM then test out service...

Thanks for the update. Will they collect the RICA details, or you're just solely producing them?
 
I filled in the debit order details and ordered it now. Must still send them the form though.

Lets see how it goes. If it works well then it may just be the best thing ever. :)
 
Update

Got a call from Lucidview this morning. They running debit orders wednesday morning and once processed, I should recieve from SIM within 5 working days.. Looking at latest next Wednesday for delivery

Many of us debit orders went off last week already, 02/10. So holding thumbs for this Wednesday.
 
Just want to hear from you guys the following. What are your expectation regarding speeds for this sim. I assume constant 3-4 MB/s is unrealistic.
I'm asking cause currently I only have Vodacom Edge available where I live (Pretoria believe it or not). Do you think it will at least be "x" percentage better than Edge?
 
No sim yet....... :( I am really keen to see what kind of speeds will be achievable.... Also see what speeds will be like through the month.

I am also wondering what will happen when you cancel... Will the sim be converted to prepaid or be cancelled...

well to be honest I sure as hell hope it will be way better than edge or I won't stay long cause then it will simply be better to buy data bundles.... If the speeds and/or limits are too heavy and bundle's are cheaper than the sub then yes I'm gone....

But lets see when I get my nano sim for my iphone5 how speeds will be
 
Called them today twice, this guy promised to call me back, nothing. Quite shady.
