Makro Sinotec Full HD Special

prob just a bad batch or something. In genral sony usually lasts a dam long time

Fanboi alert! LOL :D

And Sinotec's service is apparently outstanding... As shown by another forumite, as well as many other incidents I've read on this forum.

Makro had sinotec 32 for 4499, went to game and they gave it to me for 3999 plus hdmi cable free :)
The special on the sinotec started that tuesday.

looks like DIONs is the place to get them then - I paid 400 Rand for the HDMI to DVI Cable at Makro!

I'm thinking about diving in getting the 42" inch sinotec, I'd also have to get a stand, where can I get one for a good price ? I see makro has a special for one for R1600, I dont realy want to spend more than a grand on a stand.

The special started Tuesday? Are you refering to Makro or Game at the time?

So they gave you R500 off from Makro's price? That is pretty decent IMO.

OP should give it a go.

Yeah. They seem to be pushing us to buy LCDs. I don't think I've seen a Full HD plasma yet.
@sandman: Thanks.

True. I've only seen 720 Plasma's

They pushing LCD's because its newer technology. But I prefer plasma. Might be heavier and have the gloss screen but picture quality is better. IMO

Can anyone point me to a Full HD plasma TV? They seem hard to find. Thanks.

Panasonic is the way to go, but i do not think there is any/or much stock in SA currently and if you can find anything it will most likely be 2008 models.

Spoke to someone today at Audio Vision and they said that Panasonic will be back in stock with new models around mid August.

Apparently Panasonic Japan have now taken back direct control of the SA operation so hopefully there will be a better selection of Plasmas available soon.

well mmmmm rather go sony, only reason they are giving you a 5 year guarantee is so that you think you have quality but in the mean time you dont

Did you even read the thread? An actual comparison in store proved there was little to no difference between the Bravia and the Sinotec.

Have you even done such a comparison yourself?

Just remember Samsung was in the same position as Sinotec 15 years ago but now many would flock to buy their panels!
