OTP submitted to the bank, everything has checked out perfectly. A few minor things highlighted but nothing major so a deal is in the works.
Thanks for the heads up. Thankfully it can be retrofitted and the charging pad. So all goodEnjoy make sure if buyign mazda dealer that fit the android auto and apple car play module, if it does not have it.
Indeed, only manufacturer that does it at decent price, think audi allows it also if willing to give your kidney lolThanks for the heads up. Thankfully it can be retrofitted and the charging pad. So all good
Hence the Mazda taking preference over the audi for me. Much better all round value proposition.Indeed, only manufacturer that does it at decent price, think audi allows it also if willing to give your kidney lol

I had the CX-5 2.0 (1 year) and the CX-5 2.5 (3 years)Morning Folks,
I am seriously looking into getting a Cx-5 2.2 diesel awd akera awd am looking for some insight into these please.
Any owners here who can give me some ownership insights?
I am seeing a fair bit of chirp about "oil level high" warnings and am struggling to get concrete feedback, so if any owners can privode insight that would be appreciated.
I am going to speak to the service manager at my closest dealership today but would appreciate real life ownership insights.
Thank you. I am coming from a 320d which I love. But the cx5 2.2de just feels so planted and sure on the road, so let's seeI had the CX-5 2.0 (1 year) and the CX-5 2.5 (3 years)
My 2c:
Pros
The car is insanely well built inside. I still to do this day have not sat in a BMW, Volvo, Audi or Merc that was as easy to use and felt like it was built for the driver.
The controls are intuitive and reliability - although i didn't own them long was fine. I don't expect the diesel to be any different.
I took the 2.5 AWD offroad a few times and it was fine. It held its own well but the suspension is firm.
They handle very well for an SUV.
Cons
Coming from a twin-turbocharged 2.0 car, the 2.0 and the 2.5 both felt a bit lethargic (Diesel should be better)
Fuel consumption was high (you won't have this on the diesel)
The transmission sometimes used to hunt a lot. But with a firmly pressed accelerator it helped it find its place
No other con really, I liked driving it. I think its a great car.
I can tell you now, the 2.2 will NOT be faster than the 320. BMW engines are something else.Thank you. I am coming from a 320d which I love. But the cx5 2.2de just feels so planted and sure on the road, so let's see
I was spoilt with the bm, it is going to my significant other so still close at hand. But we need the space and the suv ride height is a bonus. At least it will handle the Eastern Cape roads better than the bm. Sick of buckling rims when doing trios there! Really looking forward to itI can tell you now, the 2.2 will NOT be faster than the 320. BMW engines are something else.
However, it will be more comfortable by a mile, higher which is nice, and they handle well. Not to mention the ability to actually go over bad roads without worrying you're going to leave a bumper behind.
Yep, space, comfort and the back-seat access is definitely > on the CX-5 vs the BM.I was spoilt with the bm, it is going to my significant other so still close at hand. They are but not the same to be honest.Yep, space, comfort and the back-seat access is definitely > on the CX-5 vs the BM.
You also looked at the Haval? I can't comment on it but for me Japanese trumps Chinese cars at least for now. The Chinese are catching up fast though...
Haval will drink your wallet at petrol tank, that stuff really not efficient at all.Yep, space, comfort and the back-seat access is definitely > on the CX-5 vs the BM.

That is what kept me away from them to be honest. I am used to 17/18km to the litre... so diesel it has to be. Do too many long road trips to be worried about petrol consumption.Haval will drink your wallet at petrol tank, that stuff really not efficient at all.
Congrats man. wishing you Happy and safe miles. keep us updated on the experienceLOL!!! Morning. You seem almost as excited as I am!
