So first load shedding done on the big boy, wife and son didn't even know they went and used the microwave I ran out the room going no no we're being shed.
Her answer was well to bad let's see what it can do.
Was always afraid on the 2400 it would drain the old lead acids to soon. Can run my 600W Microwave on a 24V Mecer... now if you have one of em makulu 2000W industrial jobbies QUOTE]Never tried a microwave on the inverters, the voltage does drop quite a bit when it's running cause of the load but soon as it was done it went back up.
Are all the plugs on the inverter? You need to be careful of what is being switched on and how it would affect the batteries without solar to help out, a circuit breaker limiting the output to what the batteries are rated for wouldn't be a bad idea.So first load shedding done on the big boy, wife and son didn't even know they went and used the microwave I ran out the room going no no we're being shed.

Would you please tell me what 600 microwave do you have? I need to get myself one of those because mine also goes up to 1200W.Can run my 600W Microwave on a 24V Mecer... now if you have one of em makulu 2000W industrial jobbies <-- that'll kill em inverter easy![]()
Got that and yeah all plugs are on it, sadly the circuit was pretty much all 80% of the plugs on one and 10% spread across the other 2. So a friend of ours who is a Sparky will be popping around tomorrow to see what he can do to separate it properly for us, for now I've warned the family to limit the loads at the time, luckily they are used to me nagging about this anyway, so they don't run things like kettles or microwaves at the same time. Are all the plugs on the inverter? Yeah mine is 42l combo thingyThink its a 15L Defy
Donno the model number but normally any > 20L is bellow 1000W and < 25L is over that.
Thanks, have you really measured it practically or you are only relying on the label?Think its a 15L Defy
