Media Player Advice Wanted

So you have been posting stupid comments for longer than I have? Hehehe...check out eGreat and see for yourself.

Hehe. :D

I was about to say... Wt* is eGreat any way? Never heard of it. Price?

Look... Around these parts, it always boils down to Mede8er vs AC Ryan. This thread is exactly like all the others, where the main discussion entails whether or not to increase budget for the Mede8er. If the budget allows for it, Mede8er always wins. Guaranteed.

This is not taking Popcorn Hour, or your eGreat into account. :D

Well so far I'm very happy with my purchase. Interface is quick and clean and the device has played everything I've thrown at it. It's quite solid as well and fits nicely with the rest of my gear. I have about 250GB of movies on it so far but no mkv's unfortunately:(

Going to do a firmware upgrade quiakly as I see there is a new version. I will report back as I play around with it.

I am busy aquiring one of these files to test. I have played 3GB MKV files and it starts them up in 2 or 3 seconds just for the record. Once you learn where the shotcuts are to get things done it becomes quite easy to use.

@juggy.Just got off the 'which media player forum'.Dualmeister provided a link to the Compro Network Media Centre 500.Is this the unit you have.If it is no worries mate it will play your HD files in m2ts format.

Great.I'm still waiting for an account activation from Esquire for the mede8er.If that doesn't happen I'll probably get the Compro or the WD.Available from bidorbuy, yes?
