Did anyone have a migration discount of about R10 on their October bill?

I was an MTN customer in the past via iTalk. So i used to get free minutes etc on the 11th. Same continued until a few months ago, when MTN sent an sms informing this being changed to the 27th.
So it has been the 27th for a few month now

So you received the SMS but no Data/Minutes?

I know someone else that still hasn't received his data for the month. Used to get his data on the 11th of the month, but last month only got it on the 27th.. This month still no data.

Anyone else with this issue??

I got the opposite, it was on the 14 then sms to say now on the 11.

Got the sms but no mention of 50gb data. And the 50gb was not allocated.
Logged it with 808 call call center. Called today to follow and was told it’s sent to billing dept. and that i should email copy of contract and copy of id.
Email bounced the customer care agents email was incorrect.

Went in to mtn store at Pavilion this afternoon was told there are others with the same problem and i should just wait mtn is trying to fix it.

Store says no need for copy of documentation.

On Saturday 27th October I got my normal 500mb data, 200 minutes and 200 sms but no 50GB data and 10 000 mtn to mtn minutes.
Queried it on Monday via their website. Supposed to be 8-12 hour response time. no response upto now.
Called customer care yesterday and was told that they are aware of the problem and trying to resolve it. Also tweeted yesterday, no response.
I called customer care again this morning, and was told that the promo has ended. I explained that my contract began on the 8th December so I should at the very least get the 50GB allocation upto the end of November...
They are not willing to budge. Bunch of thieves!!!

It seems to have mainly affected lines were MTN changed the min/data allocation to 25th/26th/27th.
Probably a system error during the migration. It’s going to be a long tedious battle to get them to do the allocation. The time that will be spent going from pillar to post is a total waste.
 
I did an online application for an upgrade 2 weeks ago. They phoned me this morning and I told them that the deals were in fact terrible, and I wont be upgrading now. They then asked me if I am going to wait until Black Friday. So, I guess there is going to be some sort of special? Im definitely holding out til Black Friday to see what is available. At least if there isnt anything I will then be out of contract and can do what I want
