Mweb customer - switch to Afrihost?

I don't know what any of that means ... but check out my bicep

Biceps like that should be able to commission said news server ;)

few minutes to the announcement now, keeping my eyes and ears open!

Where, as in URL, is the equivalent uncapped data-only product at Afrihost? Not the old uncapped version, but the new version promised here (without line rental),

New version? The only new product afaik is the all in one. Where do you read about a 'new version'?

I didn't read about it. I assumed an equivalent data-only version would be available.

There were new uncapped data products launched recently.
This is a bundle including those.

I'm going to give this one a few weeks before planning any move.

Few weeks = a month...
Why not sign up, put through 1 months cancellation notice then you'll be free to do what you want in a few weeks time anyway...

Hi
I have just joined this forum and this is my first post which is directed at Afrihost's Afriman...
I have been with Mweb these pass 2 years on a 4mb ADSL uncapped package which costs R539-00 per month. It is efficient in terms of connectivity and performance with respect to upload and download speeds. Afrihost is offering virtually the same package such as download speed and usage before throttling but at a reduced price of R397-00, a saving of R142-00 per month which is well worth it.
I would like to know if this is sustainable over a long period of time of say 12 - 60months and how will the efficiency of the service in terms of connectivity and upload/download speeds be ensured. This will go a lond way in a decision to change to Afrihost.

Thanks for your reply.

It is actually cheaper than that if you move your line too. Mweb full package = R900 (4MB line + 4Mb uncapped) , Afrihost is R700. So it is a R200 saving, which is definitely starting to be a big deal.
