Mweb fibre and VOIP problems with Ghost calls

Hi there
New to fibre - Ditched Telkom and moved to Mweb fibre and ported the landline to Mweb. Well their fibre router worked for a week, then we can connect to it but without internet connection. Installed new TP link router with good wifi signal, but now the yealink wp52 cordless VOIP phone keeps on ringing with ghost calls - nobody there when we pick up.

I did a search and found settings on the yealink page calles block IP calling and only allow calls from trusted network, but then we can not dail out with the phone???

Anybody got any advise or settings I can try to get this setup working. Almost thinking of going back to ADSL!!!!

That all sounds like a stock standard MWeb subscription. It ticks all the boxes, nothing amiss there, to be honest - it has all the bells and whistles and red flags.

Some people accidentally create time machines with old rubbish, other people use a Yealink WorldPortal 52 and so sometimes manage to establish communication portals to the hereafter, resulting in ghost calls. Must be an old ghost calling, because it sounds like they have the mute button enabled by default and don't know how to rectify that. Anyway, congrats? On the novelty?
