Argh!!! for crying out loud! Again my internet is *** slow! last night after I spoke to MWEB Ops, everything started working again. Now again everything is dead slow! :twisted:

The interface provided by Internet Solutions to provision and manage our customers on their ADSL network was compromised. This has subsequently been secured. There are less than a thousand customers who are potentially affected by this, as most have already been moved over to our own IPC network during the course of the last few months. We will be contacting these customer to reset their passwords, as an added security measure.
 
Phoned this morning, assured a technical specialist would phone back as soon as possible.

Definitely considering other options now.
 
Anyone have really slow streaming speeds? Been dead slow and perma buffering for the past 3days or so. (4mb line 4mb shapped acc) Used to have no problems streaming from sites.

Wonder if it is because you are moving most of them away?

I cant help but wonder if this will spark a audit of all the systems. I got audited for security once... got a huuuuuge boot in the nads for only checking for injection using javascript. Not a very fun time.

I am having trouble connecting to our ftp server. When using my telkom account it works fine but when i use my 4mb uncapped its impossible to connect. Any one from mweb here that can assist ?

From 8 and 9kb/s on Mweb, to 1MB/s on Afrihost. Good bye and fu Mweb!

All I can say is don't fiddle with any thing Mweb !

If this is how much I can grab from just the 10th of the month then all I can say is you have yummy bandwidth.
