I understand your concerns TrueTenacity and they are relevant, I am only looking to verify if this service will improve your experience in anyway.

Converting my line to an unshaped service will not make something you guys aren't shaping go any faster... it's only going to cost me an extra R300 for the same service... which I would class as a MAJOR decrease in my experience...

I understand, we wouldnt want to decrease your experience in anyway.

Now if mweb could exert pressue on telkom to upgrade the exchanges to 4mb capable, that would be awesome... :)

Playing on a full server and 7 people and myself all 999'ing every 2 minutes ... what the heck is going on. Browsing and downloads also affected badly.

So telkom sms'd me today to tell me my fault has been resolved. My attenuation is still on 59. PLEASE HELP ME MWEB :(

I've logged 3 line faults with Telkom (apparently its resolved), recieved 2 phone calls and they even sent down a technician to have a look at my line. Still have an attenuation of 51db and noise margin between 1-9 (stays at 6-9 most of the day, late at night it and early hours of the morning it goes haywire)

Hope you have better luck than I in getting it sorted. =(

It happens every 2 days, for about 10-15 minutes and I know it's not me, because like I mentioned, one could see on the server who had Mweb accounts because we all went 999 at the same time.

Did Telkom provide you with more information pertaining to your line? Are you far from the exchange, etc.

My account has basically been unusable since about 6PM, I'm now running on 3G and can't connect to my work server which is also on MWeb

Telkom said nothing. A technician came to my house on monday, I told him exactly what you told me to tell him, that my attenuation is too high and can I please request a solution to the problem. Yesterday, tuesday, I received an sms saying my Fault had been resolved when they did absolutely nothing. I really need help because this is the 20th time telkom has just cleared my fault without actually fixing anything.

Also I have re-authenticated your account, please reboot your router and PC for 30min. I want to establish if you have the same experience if you re-connect with a new IP.

Uummm.... getting a incorrect password/username landing page but i can access some international sites and some not??? Facebook is a no no... but heet is a yes yes?

Where are you getting the landing page on, which site? Are there other international sites you can't access. Please provide ping test and tracert test as well via PM.

Anyone else having speed problems? Its saturday and I am getting 384k speeds on my 4m again downloading from news servers. Browsing is also ultra slow and can't even stream from supersport live.
