Anyone else having speed problems? Its saturday and I am getting 384k speeds on my 4m again downloading from news servers. Browsing is also ultra slow and can't even stream from supersport live.

Yeah. Browsing on my 384kbps uncapped line today feels like the old dial-up speeds.

Hi guys,

Are you still experiencing this problem?
Is only international connectivity?

just tested it now and I'm getting the same ...... buddy of mine on the Bluff - also having Mweb issues. Something is wonky with the latency.

Strange speed fluctuations

I have been getting this same pattern when downloading various different files off different servers this weekend:
Speed%20fluctuations.jpg

This print screen was taken while downloading a Windows image off of TechNet.

Anyone else having this problem of the download dropping speed like this?

Hi Foeffie,

I see from the screen shot that the connection drops very frequently.
Is there anything else running while the download is in process?

Nothing else was using Internet at that time. Only had downthemall and Firefox running on the PC. All other PC's were turned off on the network. I also had the same pattern on other PC's when I downloaded other stuff on them throughout today and yesterday.

Hello. I have also been having problems with my MWEB uncapped the last week or so. Every say roughly 10 minutes all routes just seem to dissappear, nothing resolves and everything time's out. The connection itself does not drop though, just the data throughput. Lasts for about 30 seconds, then everything returns to normal. I am in the PTA east area. Anything would be appreciated! :D So far I have been an extremely happy MWEB customer.... :)

I had quite a few games to update on Steam yesterday. So I decided to let MWEB run to see what my speeds would be like. 4Mbps shaped.

It was a Sunday, so shaping rules were probably relaxed a little.
