Rift unplayable, actually 150,000 ping on it. Nothing responds. Tried everything to lessen it, and nothing. Browsing slow as usual as well. Getting tired of it. 384kb uncapped shaped account.

whats your speedtest.net result?

will had make sure the rift is not treated as p2p anymore and should work fine.

My news server is also sitting around 15kb/s from 4 threads.

"My Account" also seems to be taking me to the product pricing pages :/

Can't get into my mweb mail either. signmein.co.za just goes into a weird loop. Popup comes up, and dissapears repeatedly.

News servers speeds are maxing out at 150 since Friday (Surely around 1m on a Sunday morning the shaping shouldn't be that bad?), and have been unable to connect since yesterday afternoon. Torrents also rarely exceed 150, but I only have a single torrent coming down so that may be a seeding issue.

Yeah it was very odd that speed was SO much better on saturday than on sunday, actually thought the nntp issue was close to being resolved but it was just shaping going a bit easy on us.
Monday morning and its back to 0-5KBps, allso why shape filefront?

Edit: ok make that 4-7KBps

Yep it's now very apparent that Mweb is using draconian shaping for their news server. Achieved a max of 150kbps over the weekend (no full line speed at all) and now back to a whopping 6kbps this morning.

Very very uncool Mweb ........ guess it's time to move ISP's again.

Dunno, will test one. I liked that I could get things before lunch :(

I used to use my line for like 2 hours in the morning to grab and then rest of day was used just for gaming, lol. Now it's meh.

Anyone else finding int a bit slowish today? takes a while to connect before opening the page, almost like it's dead but then it picks up and loads the page.

Are you guys pausing on ad.za.doubleclick.net?

I find a page pauses on this for a few seconds and then continues just fine, just as you have described.
