I also had a long conversation with Will not so long ago. Did he rage at you like he did at me at first (raging at a paying customer). Do not be fooled, for me they organised a unshaped account to "test" for like a week. This was just to shut me up. After the unshaped testing was over and i complained about the 0.0kb/s speeds again and my Starcraft2 still lagging. (Now they could not blame telkom, ICP nodes w/e fancy terms because mweb unshaped was perfect) Will basically said he is done helping me.
So for those of you who are hopeful, do not be. After they see their is no other excuses except their network they will ignore you, tell you they cannot help you or tell you to go find another option for internet.

Edit: Mweb (Will in particular) says if you are not happy with the degrading service and extreme shaping going on now, even the 0.0kb/s (which can be seen as capping or censorship) you should find another option (aka f*** off), unhappy about something they implemented recently. All this shaping, it will not change, he made it more than clear. Even said that it will not change in the near future. So yeh please be warned, this asking for details/giving hope and the network team that will look into it is just a way to keep you for a month extra it seems.

I don't understand why you guys are complaining, my torrent with 1088 seeders is flying at a full 0.1kB/s![]()

yesterday when i got home , my news actually connected, and had about 150-200kbs from mweb news, the day before it i had 0kbs till 9pm or something.
@MWEBGuy: Ahh... switched to Afrihost - 380KB/sec download .... good old times....
(So much for my line having issues - I did mention that I only changed login details on the router?)
BTW: Despite my cancellation, I am still waiting for full details/history of the ticket - you have my email - I would love to see what your engineers did in the last 11 days (nadda?)
