OK, tried with Afrihost now, only managed 20kb/s - so this not an Mweb problem.
Wonder what it could be? A problem on filesonic's servers - specifically the one I am connecting to ?

If you can get the exact ip of the downloading node, then do a tracert and pathping. It might show which hop is bad...

i tested my cybersmart account unshaped - 106kbps on filesonic
i tested my axxess account - lite - 106kbps on filesonic.
i tested my afrihost account - 106kbps on filesonic

lastly i tested my mweb account - uncapped - 10 - 46kbps on filesonic.

for some reason it seem that mweb and filesonic dont like each other....

Wondering if there are any issues on Mweb's side. Experiencing quite slow internet, and constant spiking when gaming. Can't find anything on my PC that would be causing this.

We currently have no reported gaming issues on our Network.

Our PS3Tournament was a success last night with me hosting seems that the pairing with Telkom has resolved losts of lagging issues and disconnects
besides the occasional caching issue and timeouts while browsing I feel you (MWEB) should only improve your service from here on out

Good morning Shade, the tracer you provided is timing out on the second hop; which shows that the problem is closer to the remote end. Please provide me your MWEB email address via direct messaging and I will investigate this for you.

Got a bit of a problem, when I dial into my Mweb account from my PC (ie bridge mode) I get full speed downloads from news.mweb.co.za, but when I use normal pppoe my connection to news.mweb.co.za times out. I've disabled my firewall and turned off protected access on the mweb website. Any ideas?

Hey I've been having issues since late last-night, I thought it would get better during the day or after work hours, but nope still got issues.. i turned off my router for 5 mins, and put it back on and did a trace straight away here it is.

I get the same if i tracert mybb and gaming and browsing is all very slow,
