Just my luck. I decided to sign with MWEB for uncapped on Monday, and then the cable goes down. I still not been able to connect to any usenet server, so I guess it's a waiting game till SEACOM is sorted. I should have waited a week and saved some bucks... Well I guess I'll live, just hope I get some good use out of it when it comes back up.

Dude don't stress when you check 100+gb a month you won't mind :D. Well assuming you have 4 meg.

You got that right, but I first want to check it out on 512 option, my 4 meg line is a bit trashed (long story waiting for Telkom fix after WC), so to pay for the 4meg option will be a waste.

Day #4 of 31 - 12.9% of paid for service not available - so that's R539 * 0.129 = R69.53 so far.

Give it up -- you'll not get a cent back and you know it. And we're all "losing" now anyway. Go do something constructive with your time instead of punishing yourself with these kinds of posts. Seriously :)

you mean as constructive as your time, first with Mweb now not happy with Mweb... whats next on your ever changing line-up?

Until the SEACOM outage has been resolved, find a hotspot location somewhere (AlwaysOn) and go and use your 300 free wifi minutes. AlwaysOn has international connectivity.

Should I do the basic maths for you on how many minutes there are in a day? Let alone a week.

Rapid phone mweb tell them you are canceling because there is no service delivery.

Then all your troubles will be over and tell them they can shove their one month policy due to non delivery.

killadoob - phone MWEB and tell them they're the best company on the planet and you're their fan for life - and you'd like to give them tons of tons of money.

In terms of bang for buck still cannot fault MWEB... R6.61 is what I paid per gig last month INCLUDING line rental!!! Yes the downtime is some what painful and inconvenient but honestly, is and remains a superb product!!

No thanx i will just wait it out and not bitch and moan all day long. You seem very unhappy so naturally you should just cancel.

I agree sandman, wonderful product. This is very annoying not being able to game at night though but i guess 6 days ain't bad :D.

I have a better solution. Stop telling people what to do.

Damn, I must be lucky!

My internet is up and running and apart from times when Fifa was hogging bandwidth with TV, I haven't been too inconvenienced. Admittedly I don't game or torrent, but I can browse email flows and even skype is up.

I wonder if some of the people having problems may not be victims of some fault other than Seacom?

Where does the 12.9% come from? Are you one of those guys that look at your usage at the end of the month and go "Damn! I only did 333GB of a potential 1.333TB"?

Yeah, that is only for the Rouxenator to do.
