When I lose sync.. this happens to me. Last weekend I lost sync.. my machine downloaded at 22k a second... then I reset and I was doing 325k a second when I reconnected.

I did 6GB in 12 hours... which, if my calculation is correct - is 145KB/s - a bit better than what I've been getting the past week. MWEBs newsgroup provides 40 of that - so getting 100KB/s from Astraweb.

mweb been super slow for me for about a month now, downloading at 8kbs
getting tired of all these promises, started with afrihost got brilliant speeds for the first 2 months then it went really bad, moved to mweb, brilliant for 2 months now its super slow too.

Please advise if your experiencing generally low speeds or if it is specific to a platform, i.e. email, browsing or downloads.
