:) All is fine here in Cape.Town with Mweb!! :( Really sucks that people are having problemos! MWeb need to set up their own forums...why not have Mweb.com/forums

You have more than enough money to advertise it and promote it, that way you can keep a closer tab on your customers. Follow the paths of the big isp's in other countries, they have all done this and it really does help.
 
I prefer moderation by a 3rd party on forums I use...

I cancelled a week ago, just sent a email to [email protected] and gave them a reason, day later they advised that my account will stop end of Dec, which is fine by me, moving to greener pastures 2011! whoop!

Lucky you. I've cancelled. Sent it to 3 email addresses ([email protected] being one of them) just to make sure they got my email. Only received automatic replies. And so far I have no idea if they are processing anything.

Too bad you can't be angry at them on this forum, it seems your post will get deleted.
 
this is bull****, my connection drops every 5 minutes and speeds are terrible...
if this is not fixed by tomorrow consider this my account cancelation
Is it your PPPoE connection that drops, or your ADSL line that is losing sync?
If it's only the PPPoE connection that drops, then it's Mweb's fault, otherwise it is your/Telkom's fault, which can be solved by synchronizing at a lower speed.

Does upgrading from Mweb 384kbps to 4Mbps go fairly quickly?

Send a fax. Faxes are legally binding and widely accepted. If you sent it and you keep the proof of successful receipt it cannot be contested (well they can but would just get thrown out). Sent mine an hour ago.
 
okay so here's a some of the sites I cant access or are so slow as to make them unuseable:

takes me 2+ mins to log into steam, CANNOT log into EA authentication servers using medal of honor or BFBC2... Really not impressed, so far the account's been perfect... will be cancelling as well if this isnt resolved...
