Hi rsd - if you can provide some links I'll get this tested for you. Have you checked other streaming to see if it's your connection, or a problem with the source?

It basically buffers a hell of a lot, which I would assume means the issue is with my connection, rather than the stream. When the stream has had issues in the past it lags and stutters, but with no indication of buffering within VLC. Link in the post is all I can really give you (there's no web-based stream). Link changes daily so I'll have to give you another one whenever you're likely to test it. Only active from 11am every day til about 1pm.

Other streaming is usually ok for me, but I don't do much other streaming during office hours. Just strange that this has been fine for quite a while, but is suddenly dodgy.
 
I sent MWEB Operations my Account number and Username, I unfortunately don't have time during the day to log complaints with your department so I lack any kind of reference number, please do see if you can sort anything out for me as I am quite annoyed by the problem.

See there is a perfect example of how the line should be performing, and is most of the time, but there are random and constant dips and I can't understand why
 
They don't easily roll off the tongue.

(Is Mweb set as your home page on your browser? You seem to have all things Mweb at your fingertips ;))

Or the details could have come from an email sent to MWEB subscribers. ;)

Ok lets test on Monday morning then - PM me the active link and I'll get VLC up on our test bench and see what the experience is like from here.

Lol I swear the internet ALWAYS f's up when I decide to stay awake, buy some Monster drink and work on my company and of course my International decides to go down, of ALL THE DAYS, why the 1 DAY when I decide to get things done...FML
 
Downloads are fine but browsing is mega slow ... local but especially international
 
Is anyone else having trouble accessing various https sites? There is a couple that I access regularly that are not available when I try to connect via Mweb uncapped, yet they work just fine via Cell C.

Please provide me the URL's to the sites your having trouble accessing; also please provide me tracerts and I will test the accessability of these sites at our test bench.

PM sent. Tracerts are fine to the domains. Just https that fails.
 
About 20 minutes ago(11:30 pm 27/2/2011) I started getting some packet loss. My line stats havent changed and it was working fine earlier, did Mweb just die or something?

Are you still experiencing packet loss when doing the trace route.
Please test it again and drop me a PM if anything has changed.
