Ok, have sent my results to the specified address. Hope it helps in diagnosing the problem.
Hi all

Please fill out the form on the the following link and mail to the address provided.

my local speeds are normally fine
i use this from mweb gamezone to test local
ftp://196.2.128.102/Free Games/Savage 2/Sav2.1.7.3.exe
and this to test international
http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/275.27/275.27-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-beta.exe
as well as 2 other microsoft links....
The file on my Mweb account took 37mins to download and SECONDS on my Telkom one to download.
My local and international are extremely slow today.
Face it guys. You, the little people, have been screwed by the big corporate bully, Mweb.
Nothing you say or do will make a single iota of difference. This standard of service will become the norm and they will continue to get new customers despite it.
As far as users go in the Mweb customer hierarchy, you, the uncapped users, are bottom of the pile. Think about it.
Do as I did. Vote with your feet and exit.
Ouch, Mweb you are seriously hurting me here.
As of yesterday, I'm getting 9kbps downloads on my 1meg line. This is a major problem, as I work as a journalist and often need to download massive PDFs, music albums, photos etc. from clients.
Maybe you should write an article on how Mweb are screwing their customers month to month, promise after promise, and yet you still pay R539 p/m. Maybe a little bad publicity will get Mweb to get their act together

Mweb:
local 410KB/s
international 130KB/s
Afrihost : both full line speed
seems right, your limited to 4meg on account but it will spike higher then it, your line stats is tad weak, may disconnect , as quite far from exchange and snr is little low.
