Mr Mweb Guy, Get steam Get champions on line and sort the problem out. I'm definitely cancelling come first July and I can't play CO normally without having to babysit mweb's traffic and DNS to avoid horrid shaping and DNS problems.

Had mayor issues yesterday with global agenda's account page. Just timed out or is VERY slow and I had to register via my webafrica pre-paid.

I am thinking of moving to a 50GB cap from afrihost, as I really want to take advantage of my 10MB line
 
OK, I am trying to download global agenda free to play game and am getting a whopping 10 kbps on my 4mb account. It's going to take 170 hours to download. I just tried it on my backup capped account and getting almost full speed on it.

try download using FDM with 8 connections, what does it do then?
 
The game uses it's own download manager, seems like it is pando and works like a torrent. Am trying some tweaks to see if I can get it better.

Ok firstly, about 2 weeks a go my problems were logged & a techie phoned me (asked the usual spiel) issue was escalated. I still get the odd sms that its under investigation. So no Idea whats happening there, alltho my HTTP speeds seem better. But still its slack feedback for a client in my opinion.

Now back to the new (but was an old issue) Black Ops. Yesterday was a complete FAIL. Could not connect, If i could there were many times in game when I got the "Steam connect Fail" or "Black Ops is not Available" error, kicking me out of game. At the same time, I could connect just fine with Afrihost.... So please don't get a techie to ask me how my router is setup, or what DNS i am using (MWEB assigned - auto FYI). Also when this kak happens, Team Speak also disconnects continuosly. So there is something related.

Please I beg of you, let us know wtf is going on?!?! There are to many people who have the exact same shyte for it to be isolated!

Do it via steam. It might be faster.
 
Pfft I hate steam, but thanks for the suggestion. If it does not improve I will install steam. Thank you for the help.

Seeing some improvement now, getting speeds just under 200 now so much better already.
