The one crappy thing we consumers are gonna have to get used to is, that even if we do change ISP's all of them will follow this route too eventually...

Not really. MWEB just made their offering too cheap. If you move to something that costs more you won't have these issues.
 
My black ops is still not 100%. Today getting disconnected like crazy. please ix. I complained 100 times and nothing has happened. please fix it you noobs. Game master was suppose to call me. Please call me ASAP getting sick of this $h*tty internet
 
I think from the latest responses from the MWeb reps on this forum, I dont think they give a damn if they lose customers. The email about show us how much you have downloaded compared to previous months, well the dowload amount could be the same, but previously this was done during normal hours, now even Steam has to downlaod after midnight to get decent speeds.

I have issues when you cannot even log onto Hotmail, stay conencted to Windows Live Messenger, or even basic browsing. Also why is Steam limited, when there are local content servers, so its only local bandwidth that is used?
 
My account has been great for the past couple weeks from browsing to torrents to the news server. Only thing that has been strangely problematic is gmail chat, which struggles to connect and drops me all the time.

And yeah, since just before lunch the news server has been toast, but I assume it'll be resolved later.

Is this some kind of sick joke? I can understand shaping but this is shaping to the point of NO SERVICE????? I could at least download the file at 7kb/s on ISDN???????? WTF MWEB??????????????????
 
Very happy with my 4Mbit uncapped account lately. There were a few issues last month but now everything is running fine and smoothly.
 
I am so pissed off. Will@Mweb how can you justify P2P going at 0kb/s during the day? ZERO, nadda niks nothing. That means I cant download a kilobyte let alone 500mb. What gives you the right to do this? I swear if I had more money I would take MWEB to court. This is pathetic. You are determining what I can and cant do on the internet. That is DICTATORSHIP. Shaping is fine if I am getting 30kb/s on my 1mb line with a 4mb Uncapped account, but 0kb/s? No data transfer? WHAT THE EFF?????
