Please can you PM me and confirm your cellphone number.

Will be cancelling my account as soon as I can get my hands on a ****ing printer.
While MWeb's busy "freeing" the internet they might want to consider a clientzone-type interface somewhere where we don't have to stomp our paws on dead tree bark to get our accounts cancelled...

56K modem speeds, faxing, scanning, printing... my god, did I die from internetlessnes and wake up in back in '93? The only thing that keeps me tied to reality right now is the ISP debit order that rapes my account each month.
I'm actually starting to miss the days I shared a 14.4K modem over a BNC lan with my step brother. Throw in Telkom R7 weekends and what a bargain that bitch was...

Whats the printer for? cant you just send a mail? If no, where can i get the form you trying to print, i am finding it so hard to cancel, they don't make it easy.

yeah, sent my cancellation through on the 20th. No response from mweb, no email only that bs reference number email. Probably got a phone call from them, but i tend to ignore my personal phone when im at work. so yeah guess i'll phone some time next week

I see NNTP was shaped to 0Kbps at 13:00 today - seems to be getting earlier and earlier every day. Soon it will be shaped to 0 from 2am to 1am :(

I spoke to a telkom techie about a month ago, and i mentioned that i was going to give my line back to telkom because mweb were giving me no additional value by keeping my line (on the all-inclusive package). What he said was interesting, basically "be careful - as soon as you tell them you're dumping them they 'mistakenly' cancel your line with telkom, and you find yourself with no line for days while you have to fix the problem." He says he's seen it many times...so, let's hear from guys who have actually stopped their mweb service and have lived to tell the story!
