Evening PhreeMe, what is issues are you encountering with STEAM or international access? Are you referring to downloads specifically?
Should steam downloads not be going full speed or are you shaping that too?

We are prioritising gaming traffic, however shaped accounts are shaped. Using hereticangel as an example, he seems to be doing ok with Steam downloads.
Hi MWG, it's more to do with the games I play. Mainly Black Ops and STO. Black ops often never gets past the "Fetching Stats" bit and I can play STO, but between random disconnects and lag, it doesn't end up lasting to long....
When I connected, there was an update for both the single and mutliplayer modules for BLOPS, which downloaded peaked at 140kB/s, but averaged 50...

I rebooted twice and it seems to be letting me in ok now thanks....
MWG, the question I have though, is how to stop it in the future? I know its not my DSL as Telkom connects....

still crappy speeds and pings with mweb.i might have to downgrade my mweb account and buy an account from another ISP for gaming since mweb just isn't for gamers.will wait a week or 2 to see if things improve,if not then i'm downgrading or canceling if openweb has a better deal.
