he in P.E i think what he stated before.

i think a while back he was actually routed to jhb, but to solve hes wow issue, they routed him to cpt, giving him the sat-3 bandwidth, but causing this issue, this what i got reading though lines, not sure if i am correct.

Not really, ping has been fine for months on SAT3. Then this started happening

Thanks for the information Sillicur, you refer to international timeouts; however you've only provided us a tracer to jolt and a ping to play.tm. Please provide us continuous pings, path ping tests and tracers to these sites as well; perhaps include Google as well. The more information we have the easier for the technicians to assist you. Your query is currently still open, we would like to ensure that it is concluded.

Please note that our tracers and pings to jolt are not timing out as it did when we confirmed that we could replicate your problem. (therefore the information request, network team cannot replicate at the moment).

Then keep it running and you will see it happening. Let your tech team keep it running. You know you wont do anything to solve this issue Mweb Guy. I know it, you know it. Everyone who is smart on these forums know it. At some point my query will just get closed and it will not be resolved as usual. You guys should be doing the work not me. What you want me to do is sit here the whole day and look for ping timeouts, then tracert when it is happening while it is your job as the provider to fix your service? Is that about the just of it?

EDIT: Show me proof, ping jolt for about 3000 - 4000 pings and show me no timeouts on a normal shaped package. Go on. Do it.

I still can't log into black ops. Steam is working. Black ops is stuck at connecting again. And it's not a server issue. my friend is playing on servers and he is in Capetown. I'm in JHB area.

I have to agree here. It's not our job to find the issues. MWEB have to check the network to see if they can see anything wrong. Like my black ops they will blame the server and tell me to do the tracert to the main black ops server. No one have the ip but they will then tell me sorry if I can't do tracert sorry for me they can't help. This is not right. please fix the network. Last night I had a few lag spikes and it's really irritating if you playing and you just about to kill someone and you lag out. My black ops is fine, my line is fine, restarted pc, router, and reset port. I tried other isp and working fine. What more proof do you need.

And what is that ping suppose to show or do Prophet? That Mweb network is fine? For me its fine now too, a hour later it might not be fine again. You have to catch it when it times out, which is pretty hard, if not impossible. Mweb Guy knows this, he thinks we will just give up after awhile. Watch, remember this post. They will not fix the issue and my ticket will be closed.

It shows how I'm routed to the IP i'm tracerout in the first test:

A) one can see whether the routes are different
B) see at which node along the route it brakes

Pathping is suppose afaik to more into this. So if you tracert we could see if we are routed the same way which give a start.

So do you think its the user's job to fix the network or the service provider's job?
No, but how can one help someone who can't give you as the technician at least something to start on apart from my game is kak?

Clearly you've given nothing or little tech support in your life, it's not always as 123 as it seems especially when you get people who needs help, but just go like erm my game doesn't work. This is why one would at least ask an ip, route and them something to show how the user connects to and from the host.

Actually you know what, **** you. You know nothing about how much info I have given them so far. I have given them tracerts and pings. They have replicated the fault as stated by Mweb Guy. Im not just saying "my game is kak" I have put allot of effort into it and i spoke to a technician which i also gave allot of info too. They do nothing to actually fix it thou, they just keep asking for the same info again and again when they know it is difficult to catch it at the point of timeouts. They make you wait a few weeks in the hope you will just give up. That is it.

So, to sum it up.

a) Go **** yourself
b) I have given them allot of info over and over again

Then why is it so hard to paste a tracert here so we can compare the routes ?

U say you were replying to nelis but you quoted me when saying "No, but how can one help someone who can't give you as the technician at least something to start on apart from my game is kak?". I am not a tech guy, but I just dont see the point of doing these tracerts again and again. Like now when i do it everything is fine, no timeouts. My problem is when i show this tracert when everything is fine, Mweb will just say everything is fine and close my ticket.....Even thou they know its a problem that occurs sporadically.

Dont talk to me about throwing a complete hissy fit son. When you quoted me and said that i pretty much snapped. I have put so much time and effort into this fault already. I want to be helped, but they wont and you cannot help me. You cannot fix their network so I honestly dont see the point, unless you work for Mweb, there is nothing you can do.

Edit: Oh look, packets lost. What a surprise. Seemed fine a moment ago and now it has gone to **** again pretty much.

Well you are clearly linking in via cpt network. Not surprised then that you get lost packets and time outs as I've quite enough said in this thread that ct mweb is not so good ( rather bit broken ), "pta" is better and some of jhb has issues.

imho rather work through will, I've personally spoken to him with my mmo issues and it was fixed in due time.

Trace complete.

I know im going through CPT thou, coulda just asked. That info is not news to me at all. Will helped me previously. But last time we spoke he said he cannot help me anymore etc. (this was about downloads) Will seems to be completely MIA. Mweb Guy is useless. Your MMO issues was fixed in due time by Will because people like me kept pushing harder and harder. I know it has been said in this thread that Mweb CPT is not so good. That does not excuse them from fixing their network. They should fix their network NOW. Mweb Guy will probably end up blaming it on my line or router in a few weeks time thou, that is what makes me so angry. Get all the info, do everything you can.

When you actually show them it cannot be anything other than their network you know what they do? They tell you they cannot help you further, phone you and cuss you out (yes Will actually did that to me) awesome customer support hey? Then they close your ticket. Only way they will help us fix it is to blame it on something outside their network.

Mweb Guy, I hope you prove me wrong and actually do something. It is clearly your network. Going on almost 3 weeks now and no response other than "your fault is still under investigation"

I did right here

There is the ISPA just not sure how many teeth they have if any at all or go CPA? Only other route is public scrutiny, but lol we all know how that is going to play off here when it's more about social networking than activism. Just look at the overwhelming response I got when asking how to take an isp to task.

Imho I would have gone over to openweb rather, at least keoma actually fix things. That will be my next rest if my mweb account goes into fail mode again ever, I've made this quite clear in my previous discussion with them.

In short he's having intermittent timeouts during the day which is not present when he's connected with another ISP.

Worse than ever today, just started.

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Fix this you ****ing ****s.

This should not happen at all, it happens daily on Mweb. After giving them everything they requested there is just no relevant feedback other than "your query is still open" aka "we wont do anything to help you and just wait till you give up"

Edit: This is telkom at the same time. I am now on telkom.

Its not my line, router or pc. Hey, maybe its the street lights outside....Mweb guy, my patience grows thin.
