Well they screwed up my account...
Morne told me he will activate my account so i only pay pro rata for march, come april they will just credit me provided i can show the email.
So i get my bill, R800, full subs for april. Phone callcenter, spoke to billing, they know NOTHING of this special, puts me through to Sales.
ooops they can't help they need billing to pass the credit WTF.
after april i'm going to afrihost, finish and klaar!

Care to share how you arranged the upgrade of your free account? Did they let you pay in the difference, or did you take the plunge and sign up for a full-priced 4Mb account?

I've been trying to do this, and been shunted around between tech support, accounts and sales.

I was able to pay the difference by debit order. Spoke with Ettiene (sp?) at FreeTheWeb on FB.

Speak with Ettienne, or however the F you spell it (see above post for additional comments). Has a similar problem myself, had my own account with MWEB, got a free account but the two were never linked. E--- sorted me out in a matter of minutes.
