My Windows Phone Apps

Thanks, DA-LION. Updated on my system. I use Eishkom daily

One suggestion for all apps going forward: When updating an already-installed app, find a way to retain user settings.

Updating to the latest Eishkm wiped my Favorites. Had to start from scratch.

Also, did you fix the Rate prompt? Although I've rated the app, the previous version kept on prompting to Rate.

We couldn't retain the settings, as the current app was completely redone, we might bring out a Windows app but can't say much atm.

The rate prompt is no more there so that issue shouldn't arise now.

There seems to be an anomaly with the latest update. It only occurs under the Stage 1 schedule.

See screenshots below for an example. When viewing on Sat (current day), it provides the correct time, but the following days have multiple incorrect times.

When opening the app the next day (Sun), the Stage 1 schedule is correct, but the following days once again have multiple times.

Does your municipality have stage 3A and 3B? That's the issue I've found and I'll be fixing that.

Getting a new notification every five minutes ... stage 1 ... no loadshedding .... stage 1 ... no loadshedding .... stage 1 ...:confused:

You have no control over the push notifications? Nothing like "if stage 1 was sent in the last 5 minutes do not send it again" or rather add a delay so that a stage x notification is only sent once every 10 minutes should they flood you with updates? (Throttle control)

You cannot rely on 3rd party software. At some stage they all **** up. Unfortunately you have to babysit anything talking to you that is not yours.

No throttle control atm, was going to do it probably later today.

Yup. We went from Silverlight to Windows Runtime, complete rewrite. A Windows App will now be possible, going further a UWP app.
Also if you have multiple phones your favourites will sync across them, when the Windows app is out it will also be synced there.

New update submitted so you can have custom names for your favourites like "work" or "home".
We're still working on Cortana, so if you have any input for commands let me know.

It's the little personal touches that really makes a good product...
 
The Telkom Mobile app is not working for me. Lumia 640. Windows 8.1.

I just get "An error occurred" message. DA-LION-619 you still actively developing this app?

There's numerous reasons why it couldn't be working.
