Broke my legAnd what did you hurt the most?
Broke my leg
For me it's jacket, boots, gloves, helmet on every ride.Do you guys who commute to work and ride around shortish trips during the day wear all your protective gear for every trip? Helmet (obviously), boots, gloves, jacket, pants, neck brace, etc?
Where do you put everything when you get to work or to the shops?
Until a stone hits your hand.Ok. I don't have a problem to go naked hands
So what you are saying is that I should've worn gloves as pants?Try coming off your bike at 100km/h and doing 70 odd metres on your hands and knees and partly on your head.
You'll never not wear gloves again.

Why so serious.I'm saying apply some scientific logic thinking with regards to what speed you actually travel.
I'm helmet, gloves, jacket and boots. Had the experience of having a stone hit my hand while going at 80km/h, with gloves on.... It wasnt pleasant and hurt for a few days after... Jeans are best compromise if you don't want pants as the material is a bit tougher than track suit pants, or exposed skin with shorts....
If I was you, I'd maybe get a normal jeans a size of 2 bigger, and wear it over my work pants. Our company insists we wear formal pants, which is as thin as paper. I couldn't imagine getting road debris hitting me with those pants on, and heaven forbid I hit the road with those paper pants...On weekends I do jeans... but to work I'm only left with my work pant...

It's quite obvious that it's not nearly as serious for you as it should be.
