Sauron mentioned ear protection before - what options are there?

I've just found this which would be R410 to get one pair which is a bit out of whack. How long would it last?

I think that's the best type you could get. It really does work, makes it very comfortable to ride. You can still hear the bike, ambient sounds and so forth. You'd actually be surprised how loud things get inside the helmet, once you're used to these ear plugs, and then don't use them for a bit....

Busy selling the Grom, got me a new CB125F for commuting and it's definitely a lot less stressful in traffic :D

Now to see if that fuel economy claim holds up (60km/l). I got 50 with the Grom and cannot see why this would be better. BUT, we'll see when I refill in... May

Are you scared of something bigger? You know those bikes are made for skool laaities, reg?
It's for commuting, and cheap considering I'm paying off a car. Need to go through whole learner process again, higher insurance cost because of it etc. before I can get on bigger bike anyway... next year, maybe.

But in town where I'm not allowed to go faster than ..Erm.. 100 *cough* this works, especially if you consider the fuel economy.

Got a new helmet today. Almost got that Airoh Storm (they look so damn nice) but after holding and fitting the skwal the choice was easy. They gave me a clear pinlock which is remarkably yellow tjough, so I'll need to go exchange it

You sold a Honda 125 to buy another Honda 125?

Lolwut?
The Grom is tiny, 5.5L tank and not practical for commuting. Fun as hell for a couple of month's, but once you've climbed all the sidewalks, had all the middle-aged men stare at you and put 3000km on it you kinda want something a bit more practical and comfortable for in town riding.

Still missing out on breakfast runs and ride togethers though...Need to fix that

The Honda 125 should be very reliable and fuel efficient. Good choice for purely commuting in town. I have the cbx 250 twister.

So what is it?

You know the yellow bits peel off right?

Took the Skwal (sorry, thought it was obvious ). The Airoh didn't feel as sturdy as the Shark. Never looked at the Spirit again...I'll just never feel 100% confident wearing it.

I'll give that pinlock another look. Might've bewn a very d'oh moment for me :o

1200 - Was on my way to Sandton from Britz
went true Silkaatsnek slipped on the oil from a accident the previous day slided out .Held onto the bike and slid with it . Only broke my pinky toe and some bruising.
150cc Jonway - Was raining (Dr vd Merwe )and at the roundabout the scooter slipped .Stupid mistake I made was putting my leg out to keep balance instead of falling with the scooter .Tore my knee ligaments and broke my leg (guy in the house on the corner came out to help me) . Spent a wonderful 2 weeks in Montana Hospital
Zx6r - Bought the bike second hand and only later found out it was in a accident and that it was repaired (pretty well hidden) so we sold the bike.
