It's used with the scooter only .. no high speeds ... but then again, a crash is a crash ... :erm:

also, quite a lot of wind comming in at higher speeds (100km/h +)

Man says no high speeds... then in very next paragraph complains about wind noise at high speeds.

:)

Pinlock works a treat, I can vouch for it. When I put on my tinted visor earlier this year, didn't bother with the insert. As the mornings got colder, the visor would mist up quite a bit. After I put the Pinlock insert in, no misting up, even when used in the rain on colder mornings....

Put the liner in my jacket this morning. Sweating when I got to work.

Anyone checked the price of new motorcycles recently? They are just insane.
Same goes for secondhand (pre loved probably dropped ) bikes not much under 100k
Then I looked at the price of new mountain bikes and holy hell the average ho hum middle of the
Road off the shelf bike is around 45k with top of the range approaching 100k and over.
Nuts.

it is cooler these days, but i also realised that it is still too early for the liner. My fingers will start disagreeing, but i think it will be a couple more weeks before ALL the warm gear comes out of storage

I did actually and they are insane. Honda actually had to drop the price of the CB125F from R35k to about R27k because nobody is buying them, and to be honest, there is no way that bike is worth R35k.

CRF250L - 18 or so months ago it was going for about R60k, now R80k.
NC750s - Not that long ago they were going for about R90k IIRC, now R110k-R120k

Stupid. Why the FARK would I pay R80k for a 250?!

yea - last year you could get a 650 Versys new, but regsitered 2015 for R65k. this year, the 2016 model was over R80k
Great bikes I am putting mine back on the market because I have no space for all my bikes
Bought it second hand spent 20k on it - new Italian pipes, BMW full panniers, spots, crash bars front and rear, steel mesh light and radiator guards. Power commander etc can go anywhere and unlike the GS you can pick it up quite literally and you can also pick it up at half the cost of a new one Versys which has fukall extras

I can't find any version of the 650 Versys that is lighter than any version of the 650GS

It's really all in the [-]wrists[/-] lower back

I think we need to distinguish if we are talking about picking up a bike that has fallen over here.

Or just picking it up off the stands.

Either way the wrists shouldn't come into play. (Oh I see that was a joke. )

If you use your wrists on certain bikes they pick themselves up! *badum tiss*
