WTF?
Is been a long time since I visited TB, but this is shocking. RIP
Sure thing, wake me up when my 40 post long pages gets there, currently on page 113...
Lol at RAWR being an insultThat's certainly a first (hint: it means you're desperate to be heard, insult indeed)
And yes I do, because I understand what the issue is and you do not. Therefore I understand how the proposed solution is fixing it, and you do not.

Like a scooter
I reckon for commuting they must be excellent. @fanus, do they have a "manual" mode?
You win. You dragged me down to your level & beat me with experience.
/ignore
Yep. With "flappy paddles".
When in full auto, you can switch gears with the gear up/down, for example if you want to accelerate quickly to pass someone. Or you can put it in full manual. Full manual will still not allow the bike to just die if you pull breaks and stop (because obviously, there is no clutch), and will gear you down automatically as you slow to prevent that shuddering you get trying to accelerate from 20km/h in 6th gear
Also has normal "Drive"-mode and two "Sport"-modes where it will shift up at higher revs. But to be honest, I don't really use them, because when you open the throttle all the way, there is no difference between sport and drive.
Actually there are two clutches.
Just no lever.

I love my er6, a friend has the nc700 added I must say on pull away its got some torque. But I prefer the er6, though that's cause I'm more of a sporty rider. One word of warning, the exhaust is one unit, no slip on, and the stock exhaust is VERY quiet. So, auto nc750, or normal er6? My current choice.

Don't be so pedantic, we all knew what he meant man. Crikey bru![]()
Well BMW replaced my Quickshifter at almost R6000 with a smile.
Not to mention giving me a bike for three days.
Triumph can learn a whole lot about that kind of service...
Realising my bike is still the best thing I could possibly have bought is a sideline bonus. Like going from Cessna to an F-16.
The only better option would be a 2017 model.
I now fully understand why people go BMW and stick to them like glue.

Don't diss Triumph pal I have both and have never been disappointed by the Triumph folk . In fact there is a reason Triumph doesn't offer roadside assist - cause it will never be needed
Had a super low km like new K series a couple of months now and most of that time it sat on bmws service floor
Total costs this month on that K bike were 10k ++ no offer of a spare bike either
The k series starter wiring is as dodgy as shiit required second additional harness after they resolved battery issue
And I was stranded with a non starter a couple of times
The heated seat wires are rubbish and can't be fixed
The tyre pressure valves are sick overpriced
Yes the service folk are friendly and all but a convert of a triumph guy they won't make
And if that K series gives more grief it will be parked on their showroom floor for resell before they can
Bat an eye.
