Fairly standard - started at Cape Gate, slight detour off the N1 since I hate highways (on the detour I had to ride at a 10° angle due to a mild breeze) then crossed over towards Franshoek and over the pass. Right at the junction towards Grabouw with breakfast at The Orchard. Afterwards over Sir Lowry's and home
 
Now I'm even more miffed.

I'm right at Cape Gate. Could have tagged along for a little bit of it.

Next time. Bike is so filthy it would have been embarrassing anyway.
 
S1000RR - part with a S1000RR??? you mad!????? :p

The NEW S1000RR - I sooooo want one of those! :)

Same here which is why I'll probably buy an S1000XR next year.

Solves all my problems of comfort and maybe light off-roading while still being an S1000.

F800 is a lovely bike, seat not as comfy as the Adventure model, but really is a good bike... Cornering with the 21" Front is a bit "iffy" but on the gravel its awesome. I have not been doing enough offroad to keep my 800 so the 1200 was a logical step. Plenty twisties in KZN...

I need to make a plan and finally wash my bike this weekend. Mostly so I can work on it cleanly and take the TwoBrothers off to check the packing.
